Hey Beautiful People,
Happy Monday!! I hope your Monday is going by amazingly!!
Last night after church, a couple of my friends decided to go to another friend’s house to hang out and watch movies. So one of my friend who was watching this movie earlier suggested that we watch it. The movie was called Life of a King featuring Cuba Gooding Jr. The movie was about Eugene Brown an ex-convict in Washington, DC who started a chess program called Big Chair Chess Club for inner city youth. Guys, that movie was so good. I recommend you check it out. Its on Netflix. If you watched the movie, let me know in the comment section your thoughts about the movie.
Mr. Brown has a slogan for the chess club and I thought it was profound, “Think Before You Move!” I fell love with this statement. How drastically can we prevent things from happening to us if we use and apply this statement to our everyday life. Making conscious decision before we act because this ensures that we make the proper decision based on logic and not pure emotions. Because every action that we make has a reaction whether it is negative or positive has consequence or reaction. This is basically logic for chess. We have to make sure that we evaluate every possible decisions before we act. This will save us from many heartbreak, stressful situations and loss of finances. So the next time you have to make a decision, why don’t you think before you move. So you become a random pawn in this game called Life.
Well folks, that for now…..until next time,
